APSU 2002 Year Group Names Leaders for 97th Anniversary

    Lawyer and Astrophysicist Appointed Co-Chairmen for St. Augustine's College Celebration

    The APSU 2002 Year Group has named leaders for its 97th anniversary event. George Baffour Asare-Afriyie, Esq., and Dr. Linus Kweku Labik will serve as co-chairmen of the anniversary hosting and BOLT Steering Committee. Mr. Raymond Andoh is the vice chairman. These appointments are effective immediately.

    These leaders will guide the preparations for the 97th anniversary of St. Augustine's College. The steering committee will now move into its active planning stage. The appointed individuals bring diverse skills and experience to their roles. Their backgrounds are expected to ensure the committee achieves its goals effectively.

Dr. Linus Kweku Labik is an astrophysicist and lecturer at KNUST. He researches planetary formation. Dr. Labik has led the APSU 2002 Year Group as convener since December 2019.

    Mr. Raymond Andoh is an experienced ICT Engineer. He has over 17 years in the mining sector. He also holds leadership positions in his community. Mr. Andoh has served in various roles within the APSU 2002 Year Group. Bernard Abeka Acheampong, Secretary to the committee, brings extensive experience from APSU National. He has served on the National Executive Council for eighteen years.

    The committee aims for a successful and memorable anniversary celebration. Their efforts support the legacy of St. Augustine's College. Such alumni initiatives often contribute to educational development in Ghana.
