Joy Prime’s ‘Cook With Mum – Celebrity Edition’ event welcomed hundreds of families on Sunday, May 10, 2026. The celebration took place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. Celebrities cooked alongside their mothers. The event aimed to celebrate mothers and foster family connections.
The special Mother’s Day event featured several Ghanaian celebrities. These included Akuapem Poloo, Twin Diaries, Victoria Lebene, and MJ the Comedian. Each celebrity prepared a dish with their mother or a mother figure. Akuapem Poloo made kokonte with groundnut soup. Twin Diaries prepared chicken sauce with rice. Victoria Lebene served banku with okro stew. MJ the Comedian cooked ampesi with salted fish, eggs, and palava sauce. The event attracted over 150 mothers with their children. It created a family-centred experience.
