The torrential rains and subsequent flooding severely impacted several parts of the country, with the capital, Accra, experiencing significant damage. This wave of corporate philanthropy aims to bolster ongoing post-flood mitigation and relief efforts by the government, addressing immediate needs for affected communities.

The Ghana Association of Chinese Societies and Companies, for instance, donated 1,112 bags of 2.5kg rice, 4,000 bags of sachet water, and 500 cartons of sunflower oil, among other provisions.
Scancom Plc (MTN Ghana), supported by Multimedia Company Limited’s Flood Relief Campaign, contributed 1,400 student mattresses, 1,192 blankets, and 998 relief boxes. These boxes contained essential food items, mosquito repellents, nets, and detergents. Sentuo Group Limited provided 4,000 bags of 25kg rice, 600 bags of 50kg sugar, and 387 boxes of granular maize, demonstrating a broad commitment to food security.
Ecobank Ghana also participated, donating 10 boxes of paracetamol, 10 boxes of hydrolyte, and various other medical supplies. Their contribution also included 1,000 bags of sachet water, 195 mattresses, and 250 blankets, alongside bales of used clothing for men, women, and children. Softcare FM Manufacturing Company Limited further supplied 100 bags of KleenSoft washing powder, 100 boxes of KleenSoft soap, 100 boxes of sanitary pads, and 50 boxes of baby diapers.
B5 Plus Limited contributed 70 bags of 50kg rice, 100 bags of 50kg maize, and 50 cartons of Cerelac baby food, among other items. Eezzy Group donated 178 bags of 50kg rice, 842 bags of 2.5kg rice, and 120 cartons of spaghetti. Tobinco Group provided 100 boxes of Omal antiseptic, 5,000 gallons of Omal liquid soap, and 400 gallons of Omazone bleach. Kam Trading & Farms Limited donated 445 bags of 25kg rice, further diversifying the relief efforts.
