The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has stated that its premium housing projects are priced competitively. These homes are designed to be accessible to prospective buyers, especially workers who contribute to the pension fund. SSNIT aims for contributors to benefit directly from the trust's investments.

Lord Koramoa, SSNIT's Public Affairs Manager, explained the trust's strategy. Contributions collected from workers are invested to generate returns. These returns help ensure the sustainability of pensions. SSNIT is actively marketing its housing projects to workers across Ghana. They collaborate with the Ghana Employers Association and labour unions for this purpose. The goal is to make these quality housing options available to contributors.

This initiative fits within SSNIT's broader investment strategy. The Ghana National Housing Policy highlights a significant housing deficit. SSNIT's housing projects aim to address this gap. Previous SSNIT investments in real estate have faced scrutiny. However, the trust asserts that current projects are carefully priced. The Board of SSNIT considered the target market when setting prices. This means they looked at what contributors can afford.

Mr. Koramoa assured the public that the apartments are fairly and competitively priced. He mentioned that the Board took the target market into account. Potential buyers can visit the SSNIT sales office on the sixth floor of the Ridge Towers in Accra for details. SSNIT remains committed to making prudent investments. These investments aim to secure strong returns for contributors. They also respond to Ghana's growing housing needs.
