    Dr. Richard Owusu Nyarko, the former Vice President of Ghana Christian University College (GCUC), has released over 40 research papers. These included the Committee on Field Industry and Clinical Activities (COFICA) and the Ethical Research Review Committee (ERRC). He also helped develop an organogram for the Faculty of Health Sciences. This structure helped define its operational functions.

    As Vice President, Dr. Nyarko oversaw academic affairs. His role involved managing research and ensuring academic standards. He also pursued further education, earning a second master's degree in Clinical Leadership and Management. He holds an Advanced Mastery Certificate in Business Administration. He further completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Health Care Management. This broad educational background enriches his understanding of health systems.

    Beyond Ghana, Dr. Nyarko is recognised internationally. He is a surgical resident with the College of Surgeons, East, Central, and Southern Africa. He is also the first African to be admitted as a diplomat and Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. This honour highlights his contribution to wound care research. He is also a fellow of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. He maintains memberships with prominent health organisations like the American Heart Association.

    The publication of over 40 research articles by Dr. Nyarko demonstrates a significant influx of specialised data into the Ghanaian academic landscape.
