The Manwe Traditional Council in Ghana's Upper West region has officially thanked the Member of Parliament for Wa East, Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasaw, and the District Chief Executive, Sayibu Adamu. The council specifically praised their dedication to developing the district. Traditional leaders expressed their gratitude in a statement signed by Paramount Chief Naa Alhaji Yussif Abubakari Wiah (I). The council highlighted major improvements in education and road infrastructure. These projects aim to make life better for the people living in the Wa East District.

A newly built three-unit classroom block in Manwe was a key project mentioned. This school building was finished in just four months, much faster than the eight months allowed. This speed shows how dedicated and efficient the leaders were. The statement called the school completion a big step forward for children's education. The council also welcomed 1,000 pieces of school furniture. This donation will greatly help teachers and students in district schools. It will make learning spaces more comfortable.

This development fits into Ghana's broader story of rural development. Many districts rely on leaders to secure funding and manage projects. The Wa East District is like many others trying to improve basic services. Access to good schools and roads is crucial for economic growth. Dr. Jasaw also allocated GHS 75,000 from the Common Fund. This money will help fix roads. Improved roads mean people can travel more easily. It also helps businesses grow and connect to markets.

Paramount Chief Naa Alhaji Yussif Abubakari Wiah (I) said the leaders' commitment brings hope. He noted the strong partnership between the MP and the District Assembly. He stated, “As traditional leaders, we take seriously the responsibility to ensure these facilities are properly maintained to serve their intended purpose for generations to come.” The council pledged to help look after the new facilities. This ensures they benefit the community long-term.

These developments are likely to boost economic activity in Wa East. Better roads connect communities and improve trade. Improved education prepares the next generation for better jobs. Decision-makers and citizens will watch how these projects impact livelihoods. The council's support is important for sustained development. The total value of Dr. Jasaw's commitment to tertiary scholars is over GHS 250,000. This shows a wider effort to build human capital in the district.
