The launch occurred at the Green Works 4 Africa Forum in Nairobi, Kenya. SSCLAfrica focuses on practical sustainability and green economy competencies. Its courses cover critical areas such as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, renewable energy, and sustainable finance. The platform also addresses climate resilience, circular economy models, and green technology.

The courses are self-paced, featuring recorded lectures, case studies, quizzes, and practical assignments. No prior ESG or sustainability experience is required, making it accessible to beginners.
The platform's course catalogue includes other categories like Agenda 2063, Sustainable Finance, and Future of Work Skills.
