Three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of an Indian national. Their body was found in the boot of a car in the Ashanti Region on April 26, 2026. This brings the total number of suspects in custody to four.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Grace Ansah Akrofi confirmed the arrests. "All the suspects are in custody and the exhibits recovered, including the CCTV server, the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the Techno Mobile phone, have been retained for evidential purposes," she stated. The victim was identified as Sameer Devendra Kumar. Police found him with multiple stab wounds.

The three new suspects were arrested through intelligence-led operations in Kumasi. These operations took place on April 29 and 30, 2026. Investigators retrieved the concealed CCTV server. They also recovered the victim's iPhone 17 Pro Max. Osman Moro, also known as Piago, allegedly directed police to where the phone was buried. The victim's Tecno mobile phone was found with another suspect. John Adoko, alias Keita, is accused of driving the victim's vehicle to the abandonment site.

Investigations into the full circumstances surrounding the killing are continuing. Recovered items include an iPhone 17 Pro Max and a Tecno mobile phone. These items are crucial for the ongoing investigation. The police are working to establish all details of the crime.
