The Ketu North Municipal Assembly (KNMA) is partnering with Auburn University Outreach for a free health screening program. This free health screening targets mothers, newborns, and other vulnerable groups. Early detection of health issues saves lives. The program will take place from Tuesday, June 2, to Wednesday, June 3, 2026. It will be held at the Kuli Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound. Screenings start at 0800 hours each day.
Services available include blood pressure checks and blood sugar testing. Residents can also get Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments and weight checks. Eye screenings are part of the package. General medical examinations are offered. Medical consultations will be provided. Minor ailments can be diagnosed and treated.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu North, Reverend Martin Amenaki, highlighted the importance of early detection.
