JP Trustees Extends 24-Hour Economy Pilot to Petroleum Sector

    Phase two of initiative aims to boost productivity and create jobs within fuel retail.

    JP Trustees has started Phase Two of its 24-hour economy pilot program. This program focuses on Ghana's petroleum downstream sector. The launch took place at the JP Spintex Service Station. JP Trustees is supporting the government's goal of more productivity. It aims to create more jobs. The company wants to extend operating hours in the fuel retail business.

    The event was themed “Promoting the 24-Hour Economy Programme in the Downstream Petroleum Value Chain”. Many important people attended. These included the Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA). Chief executives from major industry companies were present. Representatives from security agencies also attended. The Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) and the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) sent representatives. Media partners were also there.

    The Chief Business Officer of JP Trustees called the project a major step. He said it is important for Ghana's economic change. The program shows a strong commitment to the national reset agenda. This agenda aims to increase productivity and jobs. Extended hours in the fuel sector will help trade and transport. It will also improve security. This makes the economy stronger and better for exports.

    The Chief Business Officer also pointed out key needs. Infrastructure must be ready for use. Strict safety rules must be followed. He thanked the National Petroleum Authority for its guidance. He also thanked industry partners for their support. JP Trustees highlighted its plan to offer customers more value. This includes good fuel for better mileage. It also offers fuel delivery. Auto-care solutions are available. Non-fuel retail services are part of the plan. High standards for health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) are included. Excellent customer service is also a focus. The JP Market Place mobile app is a key tool.

    The company said its premium fuels use advanced German technology. This technology improves engine performance. It makes fuel last longer. It also lowers long-term costs for drivers. The JP Spintex station offers more than just fuel. It provides lifestyle and convenience services. These include food courts like Kanzo Republic. There are also car washing bays and pharmacy services. Digital payments are easy using the JP Market Place app.

    The launch included a ribbon-cutting ceremony. There were also meetings with commercial drivers. Other users of the station also participated. JP Trustees will use this pilot phase to test how things work. It will identify any problems. The goal is to ensure longer hours boost productivity. Safety will not be compromised.
