New programmes will include a BSc in Actuarial Science with Insurance. A BSc in Insurance will also be offered. Insurance courses will integrate into the BSc in Computer and Data Science. The University of Ghana pledges full support for GIU’s development. The Registrar, Mrs. Emelia Agyei-Mensah, confirmed this. Malta International Training Centre (MITC) also assured continued support. Their partnership dates back to 2006.

    New members of GIU’s Governing Council and Academic Board were sworn in. This event signifies a new chapter for GIU. Awards were presented to key stakeholders. These honoured contributions to GIU’s growth since its founding as Ghana Insurance College in 2006. Notable recipients included Dr. Justice Ofori and Josephine Jennifer Amoah.
