Cookies and storage

StatsGH does not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies. Readers who are not signed in get nothing stored except the item below if they dismiss the install prompt.

Browser storage we use

• statsgh-install-dismissed (local storage): remembers that you closed the “install StatsGH” prompt so we do not show it again. Strictly necessary for that choice; it holds no personal data and stays until you clear your browser storage.
• sb-<project>-auth-token (local storage): set only when a StatsGH staff member signs in. It keeps the staff session signed in. Removed when you sign out.

Page views

We count article page views on our servers. This does not use a cookie. See our privacy policy for what is recorded.

Embedded content

Some articles embed a video from another site. That site may set its own cookies when the video loads, under its own policy.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Questions: officeofstatsgh@gmail.com.
